Abstract

Have you ever been creating art, playing sports, playing or listening to music and felt you were totally connected to the present activity, as if there was nothing else in your mind? Would you like to share this level of focus and how to achieve it with your students?

Would you like to create a more caring, heart-felt, compassionate, resilient classroom?

A wealth of reviewed research has validated what practitioners have known for years: Mindfulness in Education helps promote attention and cognitive development, emotional regulation, adaptability and compassion. Join me in this hands-on seminar, where I will invite you to feel the benefits of mindfulness, and build together a “mindfulness toolkit” that your students will use to “play” and “experience” with these research-based effective techniques. Give yourself and your students the gift of discovering a different way to teach and study... because it’s not only about coping... Education is all about thriving.
