Abstract

Engaging and effective teaching involves creating experiences which are thought-provoking, challenging, and relevant to students´ lives. However, this can only be achieved when teachers consider certain principles in their lesson-planning. Upgrade the learning experiences in your classroom by putting into practice the useful lesson-planning strategies that will be discussed in this webinar, including how to incorporate effective group work and the importance of self-assessment and reflection.

Biodata

Susana Vanegas who is currently working as an Academic Consultant for Pearson, has been involved in the ELT field for more than 25 years; holds a C2 Proficiency qualification and a TKT band 4 from Cambridge, a BA in TESOL and a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad de Guanajuato, and was certified as a Master Trainer by Pearson Professional Development International. Throughout her career, she has taught English in a variety of contexts; trained pre-service and in-service teachers; participated in Academic Events and published in indexed educational journals.
